Holton High School Art Show

Holton High School’s Winter Royalty Crowning was held on Friday, February 7. Taven Dick and Kaiya Taylor was crowned Royalty King & Queen. Congratulations to all of our candidates!

There are 17.3 million high school students in America and only 15,000 get picked to be a National Merit Scholar - the top 1% of the top 1%. We're proud to announce that Carter Colberg, senior at Holton High School, has received this honor. We look forward to hearing of his future successes.

After many years of dedicated service to USD 336, Karen Beightel has decided to retire! We are extremely excited to celebrate her while we anxiously consider how to fill such a pivotal spot on our district office team as the Human Resources/Payroll Director.

Some of our Tiny Paws wanted to cheer on the Chiefs as well -- "Go Chiefs Go!"

Our PreK teachers and paras planned fun Chiefs' activities during the last few days which included color football cheer sticks; red, yellow, white pom poms; and Mahomes headbands. They ended the week with an indoor "tailgate party" on blankets in the hallway eating hotdogs, chips, and juice (with the help of our kitchen staff and parent donations -- thank you). For more pictures, the teachers will be sending through the Remind app.

Should you have any questions, please reach out to the district office. We will be happy to provide any clarification.

Families and Staff,
We recognize that federal regulations are currently changing, which creates uncertainty for many of our families. The attached letters seeks to provide clarity regarding the policies of USD 336 as they pertain to law enforcement and governmental agencies including Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
Please rest assured that student information is protected by federal law and local policy. Information is not shared with outside agencies without explicit parental consent. Similarly, students are never to be released from USD 336 to outside agencies or individuals without explicit parental consent.
For months, the USD 336 administrative team has been reviewing these policies and ensuring that processes and procedures are commonly understood among the team. Administrators are also in the process of communicating the appropriate and relevant procedures to each level of personnel within their buildings. The safety and wellbeing of our students and the environments in which they learn is our top priority.
Should you have questions or concerns, please reach out to the principals of the buildings in which your students attend. We want you to feel assured that your students are in the best care when you share them with us each day. Your collaboration helps in our preparation efforts.
Wishing you the best,
-Trevor W. Ashcraft

_______________
Familias y Personal,
-Trevor W. Ashcraft
Superintendente del USD 336
