We have Holton High School student artwork on display at the Topeka Art Guild & Gallery during the month of January! The gallery will be open Friday evening for the First Friday Art Walk and you can also see the show during their regular hours Wednesday-Saturday 11 AM-5 PM.
Holton High School's Winter Royalty crowning will be Tuesday, January 6 immediately following the varsity girls basketball game. Congratulations to the candidates!

Holton USD 336 is proud to offer Parents as Teachers, a free, home-based program for families with children prenatal through preschool, alongside our already robust early childhood options, including infant–toddler daycare and preschool.
Parents as Teachers brings learning directly to your home. A trained parent educator visits monthly to support you as your child’s first teacher, offering hands-on activities, developmental screenings, and personalized guidance based on your child’s needs.

We’re looking for someone who brings a warm attitude, strong organization, and confidence with technology. This is a 12-month position that plays a key role in welcoming families, supporting staff, and keeping our office running smoothly.

As we head into winter, it’s a good time for families to think through backup plans in case we run into bad weather.
When conditions look questionable, we work to make decisions as early as we can. If we need to cancel school, we will try to share that update by text, email, social media, and local news no later than 10:00 pm the night before, or by 6:00 am the morning of the event -- this may not always be feasible due to unpredictable worsening weather changes.
If we announce a two-hour delay, each school will begin exactly two hours after its normal start time for students who can arrive safely.
We’ll only send notifications when we’re canceling or delaying school. If you don’t hear from us, presume we’re operating on a normal schedule.
Winter weather decisions are never taken lightly. We’re monitoring forecasts, checking roads before sunrise, and coordinating with surrounding districts and local agencies. If you feel conditions are unsafe for your child, please contact your school office and the transportation department (if applicable).
