Please join us in giving a massive welcome to the newest member of our team Taylor Smith!
We are excited to introduce Taylor Smith, our new High School Special Education Teacher! Described by colleagues and students alike as positive, diligent, and a true team player , Taylor is passionate about building lifelong skills that help students succeed in the classroom, the community, and beyond.
Taylor holds a Master’s degree in Special Education and brings extensive experience in co-teaching, behavior intervention, and student mentorship. If the Smith name sounds familiar, it’s because athletic excellence runs in the family! Taylor has a massive passion for sports and has coached basketball and football at multiple levels across Kansas. Taylor is looking forward to bringing that same energy, competitive drive, and dedication to our halls. According to Taylor "Teamwork is a vital component for success in all elements of education, in and out of the classroom."

A big thank you to Holton Preschool teacher Brielle Rice for compiling and sharing this Summer Bucket List resource for our families and community. We appreciate her heart for kids and families!
☀️ Have a safe and fun summer!

Check out all the camps, workouts, leagues, practices, and activities happening this summer for Holton students! From athletics and band to conditioning and youth opportunities, there’s something for everyone to stay involved, improve skills, and represent the Wildcats this summer.
Reminder: expectations are high, and we want our student-athletes to push themselves, but burnout is real. According to the NFHS, “most high school sports recommendations suggest limiting summer athletic activities to 8 to 15 hours per week, with a daily max of 2 to 3 hours. This balance prevents overuse injuries and burnout while allowing adequate time for rest, cross-training, and academics.” Find time to be a kid, have fun, and enjoy summer while balancing the work it takes to improve and compete at a high level.
If you have questions, please reach out to the corresponding coach listed on the schedule.
