ATTENTION Current Holton Teachers: Effective November 15, 2014, there has been a change to the fingerprinting requirement for licensure. This affects teachers seeking:

An application for the first Kansas certificate or license;
-
An application for renewal of an expired Kansas certificate or license; or
-
An application for renewal of a valid Kansas certificate or license, if the person has never submitted fingerprints as part of any previous application for a Kansas certificate or license
KSDE has further detail on licensure and fingerprinting requirements. Please remember you must make an appointment with the Jackson County Sheriff's Office in order to be fingerprinted. All paperwork regarding the fingerprinting needs to be completed at the time of the appointment. The fingerprints will be mailed directly from the sheriff's office.
