Why Is Christmas Important?
Christmas is a Christian holiday that celebrates the birth of Jesus. It is a time, generally, for families to come together and for people to be giving and kind. Many people have different Christmas traditions and holiday favorites. I think that this is an important holiday because it is a time filled with family, fun, traditions, and excitement. Christmas brings people together, can create new memories, gives the opportunity to exchange gifts, and perform acts of kindness.
My Favorite Christmas Memory
My favorite Christmas or Winter memory would be the time my friends and I did a “bring a board” party for Christmas last year. We each were assigned to bring a themed board of food, such as a hot chocolate board. After everyone arrived, we then played this game where we wrapped someone up and decorated them like a Christmas tree as fast and as best as we could. Afterwards, we decided to go outside and go for a walk. After we got back, we decided to make hot chocolate, because someone brought a hot chocolate board, and we also played UNO for a while. This is my favorite memory because it was just so chaotic and it was just really fun to hang out with my friends.
Top 5 Christmas Words
There are a ton of words that are associated with Christmas, but here are my top 5 Christmas words:
Christmas tree
Presents
Holiday shopping
Christmas music
Snow
I chose these words because anytime I hear these words it reminds me of Christmas.
Christmas Traditions
One Christmas tradition that my family has is that every Christmas Eve we stay up late and watch Christmas movies. We also open presents on Christmas Eve instead of Christmas because we are always busy on Christmas.
My Favorite Christmas Song
My favorite Christmas song is either:
“Buy Me Presents” by Sabrina Carpenter
OR
“Christmas Tree Farm” by Taylor Swift.
