About Us

In October, 2003, Jackson County Communities That Care Coalition, a non-profit agency in northeast Kansas, was granted funding to form the Jackson County Parent Information and Resource Center (JCPIRC).
The Jackson County Parent Information and Resource Center (JCPIRC) will enable Jackson County Communities That Care Coalition to work as partners with Royal Valley School District, North Jackson School District, and Holton School District, and the Prairie Band Potawatomi Reservation in the education of our children by providing opportunities that support a parents' need to become involved. The purpose of the JCPIRC is "To provide programming and resources in Jackson County that supports parents in helping their children be successful academically, socially, and emotionally."
