Our meetings are held quarterly in January, April, July and October.
We often meet at the Roebke Memorial Museum in Holton. However, we have also met at various other locations, at churches, at individual homes, or at special historical sites in our county.

Our one-day trips have included tours of neighboring cities, such as Atchison, Wamego, and Oskaloosa. We have even toured our own county with stops at places where the unique history was told, which was new to some of our own members. When the bus went over the "Soldier hills" several exclamations of "wheee" were heard. What fun!

If you are interested in Jackson County history, or have connections here through your ancestors, you might consider filling out a membership application. Our newsletter covers our meetings, our special events, and a wide assortment of tidbits relating to the history of this county and its people.
