| The Code Enforcement Department enforces city codes and responds to potential code violations relating to planning and zoning, land use, flood plain issues, nuisances, public health, unsafe structures, construction, noise, waste disposal and other code related matters. The department is responsible for issuing building permits, utility service permits and doing inspections related to building, fire and other related codes. |  |
