Shelter Houses
The City of Holton Parks Department has a reservation system in place to allow individuals, families or any organization to reserve our many shelter houses located within our parks system.To reserve any of our shelter houses in town (Rafter's, Elkhorn or Linscott) contact the Holton Police Department at 785-364-2174.
To reserve any of the shelters at Prairie Lake you can contact Kyle Claycamp, Lake Caretaker at 785-364-4216.
The cost to reserve a shelter house is $10.00 payable either to the Police Department for in town shelters or to the Priarie Lake Caretaker for shelters at Prairie Lake. City Hall does not take any reservations.
Ball Diamonds
To schedule any of our ball diamonds, you need to contact Mike Reichle, Parks & Rec Director at 785-364-9000.Holton Municipal Swimming Pool
The Municipal Swimming Pool is available for private parties. The cost is $40.00 for the first 20 people; $1.00 each additional person. This is good for a 2 hour period to be held during the closed hours of the pool. Reservations for pool parties can be made at the pool during the season 785-364-4446 or the Parks & Rec office at 785-364-9000.Parks & Recreation Building
The Parks & Recreation Building located at 211 W. 5th St. is available for rent for parties, family reunions or other special events. The cost is $25.00 per day with a $25.00 deposit to ensure the facility is left clean. Please contact the Parks Office at 785-364-9000 for more information.Other Facilities
