Municipal Swimming Pool

The Holton Municipal Swimming Pool located in a beautiful park setting in Rafter's Park was originally constructed as a WPA project in 1938. The pool was reconstructed, maintaining the original WPA rock buildings reopening in 1988. With a capacity of over 385,000 gallons our pool is one of the largest swimming pools in Northeast Kansas. Pool Information
  • Operating Season - The pool is open from Memorial Day weekend through the summer until school starts.
  • Hours of Operation - Pool hours are from 12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m; then 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. every day. 5:00 - 6:00 p.m. daily is adult lap swim and water aerobics.

Daily Admission
  • Adults - $2.00
  • Age 6-18 - $1.50
  • 5 & under - $1.00
Season Pass
  • Resident Individual - $40.00
  • Resident Family - $80.00
  • Non-resident Individual - $50.00
  • Non-resident Family - $100.00

The Municipal Swimming Pool is available for private parties. The cost is $40.00 for the first 20 people; $1.00 each additional person. This is good for a 2 hour period to be held during the closed hours of the pool. Reservations for pool parties can be made at the pool during the season 785-364-4446 or the Parks & Rec office at 785-364-9000.
