Banner Creek Reservoir Banner Creek Reservoir covers 550 water acres with camping, fishing, water skiing, boating and many other outdoor activities now available. Banner Creek is located just 1 mile west of Holton. Linscott Park Linscott Park has tennis courts, horse shoe pits, large shelter house available for reservation and up to date children's playground equipment. Rafter's Park Rafter's Park has sand volleyball courts, ball diamonds, municipal swimming pool, fishing in Elkhorn Lake and 2 shelter houses available. Golf Holton Country Club offers a beautiful and challenging private nine-hole golf course with grass greens; visitor privileges for out-of-county guests. Burr Oak Park Adjacent to Rafter's Park this beautiful burr oak tree has a crown spread of over 93 feet and at over 200 years old it is one of the largest burr oak trees in Kansas.
